Global Markets Mixed In Quieter Overnight Dealings

(Kitco News) - World stock markets were mixed in lackluster trading overnight. However, technology shares worldwide were supported by upbeat earnings released Tuesday afternoon from technology leader Apple. U.S. stock indexes are pointed toward firmer openings when the New York day session begins.

Gold prices are moderately lower in pre-U.S.-session trading today.
