Assam govt to gift 10 gm of gold to every brideThe scheme will commence from January 1 next year. However, to avail the benefit of the 'Arundhati Gold Scheme', which will cost the state exchequer around Rs 800 crores per annum, the marriage has to be registered. Also, the annual family income of the bride has to be less than Rs 5 lakh to avail the benefit of the scheme.
